The Buffalo Bills laid another offensive egg this week Youth Jordan Poyer Jersey , wasting a tremendous effort from the defense against the New England Patriots in a 25-6 loss on Monday Night Football. Even an exotic game plan full of wild runs and Tecmo Super Bowl play calls couldn’t shake the funk from Buffalo’s moribund offense. While it was another atrocious day in real life for Buffalo’s offense, there were a few players who registered decent fantasy football scores for the week. Here are Buffalo’s top scorers from Week 8.RB LeSean McCoyShady only managed 13 rushing yards on the day, taking 12 carries to do so, which makes his inclusion on the list a bit surprising. However, it was his day as a pass receiver that provided his fantasy worth, as he hauled in 6 passes for 82 yards, leading Buffalo in both categories. McCoy’s 12.5 fantasy points last night was his high for the season.K Stephen HauschkaBuffalo’s only source of scoring was their excellent field goal kicker, who nailed both of his long attempts on the day. His first kick was good from 47 yards away, which is worth 4 points in fantasy football; his second kick was good from 50 yards out, a 5-point fantasy effort, giving him 9 total fantasy points on the day. With Buffalo’s offense continuing to play so poorly, Hauschka remains the best fantasy football player the Bills have in 2018.WR Zay JonesIf there is one positive to take away from the season so far, it’s that Jones has begun to resemble the high-level wideout the Bills thought they were selecting last season. Jones had another solid day at the office this week, posting 6 receptions for 55 yards, good for 8.5 fantasy points. Jones is the best route runner among Buffalo’s receivers, and he is the only one of the bunch who can create some semblance of separation on his routes, as he has been fairly effective in the slot. The second-year man needed to take a step forward this year, and he has done so even as the offense has taken three giant leaps backwards from a year ago. We’re past the halfway point of the college football season, which means that it’s time to take another look at where the Buffalo Bills scouts have been packing up their shabby suitcases and driving their beat-up cars to go watch college football games. October has been an exciting month for college football, and there’s been quite a few high-level matchups to watch. As always, thanks to the few generous media members that tweet about such goings-on, as without them we wouldn’t have this information at our fingertips.Washington-OregonOctober 13thOregon Ducks (QB Justin Herbert, OT/OG Calvin Throckmorton, OC Jake Hansen, DE Jalen Jelks Buffalo Bills Hats , LB Troy Dye)Washington Huskies (CB Byron Murphy, S JoJo McIntosh, S Taylor Rapp, TE Drew Sample, RB Myles Gaskin)Grif’s take: Washington’s secondary is in a class all it’s own, but Throckmorton for Oregon is starting to gain some traction as a riser in scouting circles. He’s been keeping star quarterback Justin Herbert clean all season and has really demonstrated his versatility in seeing some snaps at center due to injury. Arizona State-StanfordOctober 18thArizona State Sun Devils (WR N’Keal Harry)Stanford Cardinal (WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside, TE Kaden Smith, RB Bryce Love, CB Alijah Holder, OLB Joseph Alfieri, G Brandon Fanaika)Grif’s take: It didn’t show it on the scoreboard, but scouting this game was all about the offensive talent. N’Keal Harry is a first- or second-round talent depending on how he tests, while Arcega-Whiteside has been a riser since the season started. Bryce Love, on the other hand, has been a faller due to an inability to stay healthy and a lack of production.Alabama-TennesseeOctober 20thAlabama Crimson Tide (DT Quinnen Williams, DT Raekwon Davis, LB Mack Wilson, LB Christian Miller, OT/OG Jonah Williams, FS Deionte Thompson, RB Damien Harris)Tennessee Volunteers (DE/LB Jonathan Kongbo)Grif’s take: Alabama was the likely draw for this game, probably due to their overwhelming amount of defensive talent, but also their offensive line prospects. Sophomore Quinnen Williams has risen like a rocket this season and, if he declares, he could end up being a top-fifteen pick. Williams Buffalo Bills Hoodie , Wilson and Thompson all look like first rounders at this stage as well.Michigan-Michigan StateOctober 20thMichigan Wolverines (DT/DE Rashan Gary, DE Chase Winovich, LB Devin Bush, CB Lavert Hill, S Khaleke Hudson)Michigan State Spartans (RB LJ Scott, WR Felton Davis, DE Kenny Willekes)Grif’s take: This is the second time the Bills have scouted the Wolverines, and their defensive talent is always the main draw, especially Gary and Bush. Michigan State running-back LJ Scott’s tough running style would be a fit for the Bills though. Clemson-Florida StateOctober 27thClemson Tigers (CB Trayvon Mullen, DT Dexter Lawrence, DE Clelin Ferrell, DT Christian Wilkins, OT Mitch Hyatt)Florida State Seminoles (DE Brian Burns, DT Demarcus Christmas, CB Lavonta Taylor)Grif’s take: Clemson defensive line is perhaps the best in the nation, although it’s unlikely all of them are destined to be first-round picks as some are suggesting. FSU didn’t really put up a fight in this game or this season, but Brian Burns has been on a tear recently and is a draft riser.Penn State-IowaOctober 27thTop ProspectsPenn State Nittany Lions (CB Amani Oruwariye, WR Juwan Johnson, OG Ryan Bates)Iowa Hawkeyes (TE Noah Fant, DE Anthony Nelson, TE TJ Hockenson)Grif’s take: Who doesn’t love Iowa tight ends? Both Fans and Hockenson are starting caliber prospects at the position, with Fant having more upside as a receiver. Penn State’s Oruwariye appears to have a good sense for zone coverage responsibilities and has a nose for the football.
