Velox

Velox' mandibles twitched in anticipation for the battle. Grabbing the screamer and reload as fast as he could, the chrome Mechari's crystals glowed brightly as he leapt onto the helicopter's open-sided crew deck, launcher in hand. If there was one thing that was just as good as up close and personal, it was some nice, meaty (preferably, as Velox has great distaste for flesh-bags) explosions. Thus, Velox looked almost happy, with something close to a mechari's equivilant of a childish grin. He kneeled on the deck and waited for lift, preparing the launcher...

When the craft took off, as silently as it had come and landed, Velox prepared to ruin the subtle, quiet calm before the battle. Loading and checking the weapon before use was his typical protocol, and the rigmarole of a distance weapon was one reason he preferred the energy blade on his back. Still, the meaty explosions dangled before him like a promise of Santa Claus, and Velox focused. Bringing the heavy launcher up to his head level, steadying himself with his back foot, and focusing in on the Saloon door....

"Firing." Few words have ever tasted so very sweet.

A hissing "FSHSHHHHHWHHHUUUMP" is emitted from the launcher, and smoke shoots out behind Velox.

The rocket jets straight for the door of the saloon, packing a punch large enough to incinerate the door, and anything within two meters on the other side.


Velox didn't wait for the immediate chaos to come to fruition before preparing his next shot; within the minute he would have his second missile ready...
